Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is suing the Trump Administration over the federal funding freeze. The lawsuit claims the state is still unable to access over one-billion-dollars in federal funds, with another 900-million requiring a review before it can be sent out. This is despite multiple orders from federal judges to release the money. Shapiro said the federal government is breaking a contract with Pennsylvanians to provide money committed to “serious needs” including protecting public health, and cutting energy costs.
