A fire on Saturday morning destroyed a home in Antis Township on Lear Avenue. Fortunately no one was injured. A state police fire marshal has been called in to investigate, but there are reports the fire is believed to be accidental in nature. On Saturday afternoon, firefighters responded to another house fire, this time on Allegheny Street in Hollidaysburg. Reportedly, no one was hurt, and the fire was primarily contained to a first-floor office. It is believed the fire may have originated from a power strip.
