Suspected CEO shooter Luigi Mangione will not be making an appearance in Blair County Court on Monday, as was scheduled. Court officials say Mangione’s defense attorney, Thomas Dickey had expressed an interest in filing pre-trial motions ahead of Monday’s hearing. The order was made to cancel the hearing, and give Attorney Dickey a deadline of February 21st to file those motions. Mangione was scheduled for court in Blair County next week, to face charges of forgery, and firearms not to be carried without a license. In December, Mangione was apprehended by the Altoona Police at McDonalds on Plank Road, shortly after he allegedly shot and killed the CEO of UnitedHealth Care, Brian Thompson, on the streets of New York. Reportedly any future proceedings in Blair County will be held remotely.
