THON returns for its 53rd year this weekend at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College. The dance marathon begins this evening at 6 and will continue through Sunday afternoon at 4. The Penn State student-run philanthropy has raised more than $236 million dollars for the Four Diamonds at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. Over 700 dancers will be on their feet for this 46 hour no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon. This year’s THON theme is “A Home For Hope.” If you wish to make a donation you can go to THON.org.
