One in Custody, Drugs Seized, In Overdose Deaths of Three In Blair County

Three people were found dead of drug overdoses Wednesday, and one individual has been arrested.  The fatal overdoses involved two people from Tyrone Borough, and another from Snyder Township.  The deceased included two women, one 24-years-old, and the other 32, and a 25-year-old man.  According to the Tyrone Borough Police Department, authorities reportedly learned the source of the fatal heroine/fentanyl overdoses was coming from a trailer located in Snyder Township.  Arrested in connection with the overdoses, was 20-year old Calil Francois-Moon of Homestead, Pa.  Reportedly, Moon was identified as a known drug dealer, and had been under surveillance by state police.   During the arrest nearly two-hundred-thousand dollars in drugs was also seized.   Moon is facing charges of possession and disorderly conduct, and is currently in the Blair County Prison where bail has been denied because of further possible charges.  Police have not identified the victims of the suspected overdoses.  A joint investigation continues by the Pennsylvania State Police, State Attorney General’s Office, Tyrone Borough Police, the office of the Blair County District Attorney, and the Altoona Police Department.
