Charges are being filed against a Somerset County couple accused of fraud. State Police say that Louis and Keri Alongis agreed to perform home contract work for a local man who needed a project completed on his bathroom. According to the report, the Alongises accepted and cashed a check for more than 43-hundred dollars back in August–with agreement to have the work completed by the end of October–and then never began the project. Police say the couple admits they never even purchased materials for the job.
