A trial is underway for a Clearfield County woman who is accused with conspiring to kill her ex-husband. Thirty-eight-year-old Danielle Parks was arrested last February, in connection with the shooting death of her ex-husband, Kody Parks. The shooting occurred at a residence in Morris Township, Clearfield County. Police reported that Kody Parks had been shot five times. At the time of the shooting, Danielle Parks told police the shooting was in self-defense, but prosecutors believe she and her boyfriend, 49-year-old Bryan Michaelis conspired to kill her ex during a custody exchange. Parks’ trial is expected to continue through this Friday. Mishaelis is being tried separately, but his trial date has not yet been scheduled.
