A Huntingdon County couple has pled not guilty in the 2023 drowning death of their two-year-old child. Fifty-two-year-old Kathleen Kuhns-Stains, and her 55-year-old husband Gregory Stains of Cassville, were charged with numerous counts including involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment. Reportedly, the two had a history of neglect filed with Children and Youth Services. Reportedly, Gregory Stains told authorities he returned home from work on September 25th, 2023 and found the toddler face down in their pool, while his wife Kathleen slept. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for May 23rd.
