A Clearfield County woman has been found guilty of shooting her ex-husband to death. Yesterday a jury found 37-year-old Danielle Parks guilty on charges including first-degree murder, and conspiracy, in the shooting death of her estranged husband, 33-year-old Kodey Parks. The shooting occurred last year, at a residence in Morris Township, Clearfield County, during a custody exchange. Earlier in the week, Parks testified that she shot her ex in self-defense and it was actually her boyfriend, 48-year-old Bryan Michaelis who pulled the trigger. Michaelis is being tried separately, with jury selection scheduled for April. Danielle Parks is expected to be sentenced within the next 60 days.
