The West York police officer killed in the UMPC Memorial Hospital shooting last weekend will be laid to rest today. The funeral for Officer Andrew Duarte is scheduled for this afternoon. A procession before the private service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. West York Police Chief Matt Millsaps called Duarte a hero. Duarte was shot to death at UPMC Memorial in York County, after a confrontation with a gunman, who was holding hostages.
