A police department in York County, Pa., is warning the public that two of their officers’ photos are being used for a scam. Middletown Division Police say the officers’ photos are being posted on social media along with a message claiming that they are in danger and need financial assistance. The department says the officers are fine and the message is a hoax to steal your money. Officers are reminding the public to make sure a social media post is true before sharing it.
