A 33-year-old Patton man was arrested yesterday after a four hour standoff with state police that eventually ended peacefully. The standoff occurred when state police arrived at a Patton Borough residence, located along the 1100 block of 4th Avenue, to serve a warrant to Joseph Rematt for a domestic incident that occurred on Saturday. Rematt is facing charges of kidnapping, unlawful restraint, terroristic threats, and false imprisonment for the incident on Saturday. Charges for the standoff are pending. Reportedly, Rematt was transported to the Cambria County Prison. An investigation is continuing.
