Total Lunar Eclipse To Be Visible Over PA Tomorrow Morning

Pennsylvania  residents who venture outside early tomorrow morning are going to get a chance to witness an interesting phenomenon.  A total lunar eclipse will be visible as long as skies stay clear.  The event is often referred to as the Blood Moon because, instead of darkness, the moon will appear to glow reddish brown as the Earth moves between it and the sun and casts its shadow on the lunar surface.  The period of totality for the eclipse will begin shortly before 2:30 a.m.
