Three campgrounds at Lake Raystown are closed until further notice due to a staffing shortage, and that’s according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The campgrounds are located in Huntingdon County and include Susquehannock, Seven Points, and Nancy’s Boat-to-Shore Campground. The Army Corps of Engineers says the closings are due to staff shortages, and that prohibits safe operations of the facilities. Reportedly, some events will also be reduced or cancelled. Visitors, who have paid reservations that were cancelled, are expected to receive refunds.
