A 29-year-old DuBois man has been accused of setting off homemade bombs and threatening to blow up neighbors.  Sandy Township Police have arrested Lamar Collins on charges that include arson, weapons of mass destruction, and terroristic threats.  Police say last September they were dispatched to 142 Eastern Avenue in Dubois for a report of an explosion, where it was discovered that Collins allegedly manufactured a 55-gallon drum, filled with propane that exploded.  After charges were filed against him, Collins allegedly began sending threatening texts to neighbors who were witnesses in this criminal case.  He reportedly threatened to kill them, by blowing them up.  The threats resulted in police searching Collins home last December, where they found an additional homemade bomb, a rifle with a homemade silencer, along with methamphetamine and marijuana.  He is currently in the Clearfield County Prison where bail has been set at $250,000.  His preliminary hearing has been set for March 28th.
