Several hundred protestors showed up yesterday outside the Bellefonte, Centre County office of Republican U.S. Representative Glenn Thompson. Most of those protesting were reportedly Democrats, there to criticize the Trump Administration’s policies concerning federal budget cost cutting. The protestors reportedly said they will continue to organize such events until they get a meeting with Thompson. A statement from Thompson was released in which he noted that President Trump is “delivering on his campaign promises to ‘right size’ the federal government, by identifying and rooting out waste, fraud and abuse.”
