An Altoona man died in a house fire yesterday. According to Blair County Coroner Ray Benton, 56-year-old Cary Bott Jr., died in the fire that broke out at his Crawford Avenue home, shortly before 11:00 yesterday morning. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday. Cause of the fire, which is believed to have started on the second floor, is under investigation.
