A Pennsylvania woman has been accused of fabricating a hate crime, and that’s according to the Allentown Police Department. Authorities say an employee with the city of Allentown claimed she found a noose on her desk, but instead left it there herself. LaTarsha Brown is charged with fabricating physical evidence for allegedly placing the noose on her own desk at the Department of Community and Economic Development in January. Authorities said Brown was the only employee that did not agree to a DNA swab, then asked for the investigation to be dropped before officers found only her DNA on the noose.
