An 18-year-old Duncansville man was apprehended for allegedly robbing Smokers Express in Duncansville on Monday morning. Arrested was Thomas Talbert who has been charged with a felony count of robbery, recklessly endangering, and other related counts. On Monday morning, a male dressed in a white hooded sweatshirt and having his face covered, pointed what turned out to be an air gun, at a clerk and demanded cash from the register. The suspect then fled the scene by E-bike. Authorities arrested Talbert, several hours later, after two residents went to police believing they knew who the suspect was and where he was. Talbert has been placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for April 1st.
