Penns Valley School Evacuated After Written Threat Discovered

Students at the Penns Valley Elementary and Intermediate School in Centre County were evacuated yesterday after school officials became aware of a non-specific threat written on a wall at the school.  As a precaution, students and staff were evacuated to the high school gym.  A state police k9 unit cleared the building, and the building was pronounced  safe for return.  An investigation is underway.
