Saint Francis University men’s basketball coach Rob Krimmel plans on retiring after serving as coach for 29 years. His decision to retire comes just days after the university announced that its athletic program will transition from Division 1 to Division 3, beginning in the fall of next year. Jim Brazill, who is the Director of Athletics, announced yesterday that Luke McConnell has been elevated as the men’s basketball head coach. McConnell is coming off his first season as the associate head coach for the Red Flash.
