A Centre County man who is a falconer, is looking for his rare red-tailed hawk that has been missing since Saturday. The female hawk is a unique blond color and was being flown to hunt when a gust of wind whisked her away, separating her from her owner. Her handler, Francis Gray says the bird went missing around Cold Stream Dam at the Philipsburg Elks Lodge. The hawk reportedly has equipment including bells on her ankles, but they may have fallen off. You are asked to call Gray if you should happen to see this blond colored hawk.
