Additional charges are being filed against a Somerset County couple accused of fraud. Louis and Keri Alongis, from Stoystown, were charged in February with state police saying they had agreed to perform home contract work for a local man who needed a project completed on his bathroom. According to the report, the couple accepted and cashed a check for more than 43-hundred dollars back in August and then never began the project. Since the filing of charges in that case, authorities say another victim had come forward with a similar story. Charges against the duo include deceitful business practices, theft by deception and home improvement fraud. They were both released on unsecure bail and face preliminary hearings on April 16th.
