Death penalty arguments for an SCI Somerset inmate, convicted of killing a corrections officer, have been postponed until next week. Last week, Paul Kendrick was found guilty of first-degree murder in the 2018 death of Sgt. Mark Baserman. Arguments over whether Kendrick should be sentenced to death were to have taken place yesterday, but where rescheduled to next Monday.
