DOJ To Seek Death Penalty For Luigi Mangione

The alleged UnitedHealthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione could face the death penalty.  Attorney General Pam Bondi said yesterday that she has ordered federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty.  Mangione allegedly shot and killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a New York City sidewalk in December, fled the scene, and was later apprehended at McDonalds in Altoona.   Bondi called the killing a “premeditated, cold-blooded assassination that shocked America.”
