Hollidaysburg High Music Department To Be Recognized

Hollidaysburg Mayor Joseph Dodson will be visiting the Hollidaysburg Area High School auditorium today to make a proclamation that this weeks is “Hollidaysburg Area High School Music department week,” in the Borough of Hollidaysburg.  The proclamation comes in recognition of four recent Walt Disney World performances in Orlando, Florida by Senior High music department ensembles, including 7 Hollidaysburg teachers and over 150 students, representing the school district.  The Hollidaysburg Area School District Music Department has been recognized for the past 13 years as one of the “Best Communities for Music Education” in the Unites States, by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation.
