The Shapiro Administration is preserving more of Pennsylvania’s farmland. The Governor’s office says the state is investing close to twelve-million-dollars to purchase the development rights of over three-thousand acres on 29 farms across the commonwealth, including one in Cambria County. Skebeck Farms, a 120 acre crop farm in Chest and Clearfield Townships, will see a total investment from the state of slightly more than 162-thousand dollars. Pennsylvania has now preserved more than 30-thousand acres of farmland since the start of the Shapiro Administration.
