Police in State College have arrested a 20-year-old Milroy, Pa., man in connection with a plot to carry out a mass attack at the State College Area High School on April 21st.   Arrested was Braeden Phillips who was taken into custody after authorities received a tip.  Reportedly, Phillips had conspired with another person to execute the attack on the day after the anniversary of the Columbine massacre.  He moved the date to the following day since the anniversary fell on a Sunday.   Authorities say Phillips who was a former State College resident, had planned to plant bombs in the school’s bathroom and another individual had compiled a “hit list’ of people to target.  The attack was planned for 8:40 a.m. during a high traffic time at the school.  Phillips is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and unlawful possession of a firearm.  He is being held in the Centre County Prison where bail has been denied.  In the meantime, State College Area High School will have enhanced security at the school today, which will include extra police and metal detectors.
