A drug take back day is taking place tomorrow at several locations in Blair County. This is a chance for you to get rid of unwanted medicines in your cabinet that have expired, or you are no longer using. This year’s event will take place tomorrow from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Thompson’s Pharmacy on Chestnut Avenue in Altoona, the Blair County Courthouse in Hollidaysburg, and the parking lot across from the main entrance of the Department of Veterans Affairs Police Department at the V.A. Hospital along Pleasant Valley Blvd. The event is sponsored by the Altoona Police, PSU-Altoona Police, Veterans Affairs Police Department, and the Blair County Sheriff’s Office.
