A fire broke out early yesterday morning in a physics closet at Bishop Carroll Catholic High School in Ebensburg, but fortunately was quickly contained. Maintenance workers noticed smoke coming from the roof around 6:00 yesterday morning and managed to contain the fire until firefighters arrived at the scene. Due to the lingering smoke odor some science classes will be relocated today. School officials assured the public yesterday that no chemicals were present in the physics building when the fire broke out. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
