News reports indicate police were sent to Curaleaf on E. Pleasant valley Blvd Saturday morning around 9:30 for a report of a man wielding a knife. Police found 35 year old Joshua Claybaugh of Altoona trying to get into the building with that knife. Police say that he tried to follow employees into the building, and tried to pick the lock of a door when he could not get inside. Claybaugh allegedly chased one employee with then knife, preventing that worker from entering the facility. Claybaugh was arrested with the knife in his possession. He is charged with felony aggravated assault and attempted burglary charges among others. Claybaugh is in the blair county jail on $50,000 bail.
