In a report by WJAC, attorneys for Logan Pringle and Preston Hinebaugh have petitioned Cambria County court to dismiss charges against their clients. The reason..They claim the two suspects have been unlawfully detained because of insufficient evidence. Pringle and Hinebaugh have been locked up since last December, when school officials and police uncovered a plot to carry out a mass shooting incident at Westmont Hilltop High School. Pringle’s father Philson, has also been charged in this case with evidence tampering. A judge will review the motions and hand down a ruling within the next several weeks according to the Cambria County District Attorney’s office.
