Results of the official recount of the May 17th primary vote shows that Dr. Mehmet Oz defeated Dave McCormick by just 951 votes out of some 1.3 million votes that were cast. The recount was necessitated by the results of the vote, which separated the two candidates by .1% of a percentage point, which triggers an automatic recount.
