A television report out of Harrisburg indicates that Gov. Wolf pledged $8.25 million to the By-Heart company, the newest manufacturer of baby formula in the united states. The public money, that will ride alongside private donations will help the company try to put a dent in the ongoing baby formula shortage across the nation. Wolf said he is proud to invest in the company and that some 500,000 new babies will get the formula they need within 2 years time. Some will get formula in half of that time. The 500,000 babies represents 15% of newborns in the USA yearly. By-Heart is a farm to formula based company.
