A report in the Altoona Mirror indicates police have charged 29 year old Glenn Briggs Jr. of failing to make numerous bank deposits for dollar general in Tyrone. The report states that while going through records, the district manager of dollar general noticed deposits for June 2-4 had not been made. Briggs then made those deposits on June 12-13. Then the district manager found other deposits had not been made. Briggs told police that the money had been stolen, but later admitted he took the money. He is accused of stealing some $11,000. Police found 34 deposit bags from the store in Briggs’ home. He is charged with felony theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
