According to a report by WTAJ, the accident occurred in Susquehanna Twp. Cambria County Saturday afternoon around 2:30. Coroner Jeff Lees reported that Christopher Eckenrode was moving dirt with his tractor and front end loader on his property when he moved to close to a drop off point, and was thrown off when the machine overturned. The loader then fell on top of Eckenrode. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Lees said that Eckenrode’s death has been ruled as accidental, but the investigation will continue.
