News reports indicate that the hospital cut the ribbon on a newly expanded primary care space that will afford more treatment options for patients. Veterans can now receive many treatments in one specific area of the hospital, instead of going to several different parts of the facility. There are state of the art beds for patients, along with Telehealth rooms, where patients can more rapidly connect with a doctor for diagnosis and to ask questions. There is also new areas for spinal cord injuries and women’s health. The new 15,000 square foot area opened yesterday, and the center is expected to continue to expand in the future.
