According to a report by WJAC, that man, identified as Julian Khater has been sitting in jail since last march awaiting his trial for allegedly using a chemical spray on capitol police officers during the incident. Now comes word that Kahter and his attorney are mulling over the possibility of a plea bargain to avoid a trial. A federal judge called Khater a dangerous individual and denied him bail in the case. The trial is scheduled to be held this October, and there is no word on what kind of plea deal Khater is looking at.
