Television news reports suggest that two female hikers became lost just below the Wopsononock Mountain lookout. Police and rescue workers say the two became lost after dark this week, and 911 dispatches sent out first responders to look for the pair. The girls became disoriented because they were not familiar with the terrain the were hiking. They were rescued at 9:45 without injury. Greenwood, United and Pinecroft volunteer fire companies responded along with Logan Twp police. Rescuers worked with 911 on locating the girls using technology and the knowledge of the area to find them.
