WTAJ reports that former President Graham Spanier has authored a book that details the ordeal that put Penn State on the national map for the wrong reasons. Spanier spent time in jail for his role in the Sandusky child sex abuse scandal. Calling it a painful experience. Spanier said that there is so much misinformation in the public about the scandal, that he hopes his book will help to set the record straight. Spanier claimed that he barely knew Sandusky, and that he only ever had one conversation with him. Spanier was convicted of a sole count of child endangerment and spent 2 months in the Centre County jail. He claims in the book that he did nothing wrong.
