A report by channel 6 indicates that 46 year old Wayne Baker of Williamsburg was arrested and charged with stealing more than $500,000 worth of equipment and vehicles aver the past several years. The report states that a witness told authorities about the alleged thefts, and that the items were reportedly stolen from Grannas Brothers quarry or New Enterprise Stone and Lime company, and from various construction sites in both Blair and Cambria counties. Baker is also accused of stealing an excavator from Mineral Point in Cambria County. Police say they recovered numerous stolen items from several properties that belong to baker. He was locked up on $75,000 b ail.
