Television news reports indicate that a jury took less than 2 hours to convict 26 year old Joshua Gorgone for the stabbing death of Denise Williams in 2021. Williams was killed following an apparent argument over a refrigerator that Gorgone was selling on social media. Police say Williams was stabbed repeatedly with a kitchen knife. He was charged after Williams body was found inside his Geistown apartment. Gorgone was charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, theft, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse. He will be sentenced on November 1st.
