According to a report by WTAJ, police have charged 41 year old Adam Bush with embezzling more than $380,000 from an Altoona law firm. The report says that partners in the firm began noticing major discrepancies with the paying of bills back in September. It was then discovered that cash advances and card usage was taking place that were not authorized. Bush told the partners that it was a payroll issue. Through further investigation, it was discovered that bush wrote 62 separate checks for $273,000 and advances on another account totaled nearly $99,000. Bush reportedly admitted to police that he took the money for personal use, including paying for a wedding and honeymoon. He is charged with identity theft, forgery and other charges.
