A report out of Harrisburg indicates that the Republican candidate for governor finally conceded defeat yesterday to Josh Shapiro. Five days after the general election, Mastrtiano said that is is the only right thing to do, so he conceded the race. Mastriano said in his remarks that he hopes Shapiro leads well, and for all Pennsylvanians to pray. With 98% of votes tallied, Shapiro won the race with a 750,000 vote margin. Some political pundits say that Mastriano’s support of former President Trump’s claim that the 2020 election was stolen, led to his defeat. Mastriano also said that PA can do better at having more transparent elections and have them decided more quickly in the future.
