Reports out of Harrisburg today indicate that democrats will be in control of the state house or representatives for the first time in more than a decade. Two races in the 142nd and 151st district were still too close to call this week, but a report indicates that the last Republican incumbent holding out hope finally conceded yesterday, giving the democrats the 102 seats needed to take over the house. One seat remains..THAT Of the late Tony DeLuca. He died earlier this month, but still won his seat on election day. A special runoff will determine who sits in that seat. Republicans will still control the senate but by a smaller margin that this session held.
