News reports out of Harrisburg indicate there is now a feud between Republicans and Democrats as to who actually controls the House of Representatives. One member of each party has taken the oath of office to determine who is the speaker of the house. Democrats own the House with 102 seats according to the November election, to the Republicans 101. But since one seat is vacant due to the death of rep. Tony DeLuca, and two others are open because Austin Davis resigned to become Lt. Governor and Rep Summer Lee is headed to Washington, those seats now become part of a special election process. Which Republicans claim now puts them in charge because all three of those seats belong to Democrats, and now are considered vacant, which Republicans say gives them control of the house by a 101-99 margin. The courts will decide on when the special elections to fill the 3 vacant seats will be held.
