A report by bedford borough police thru WJAC indicates that police arrested 22 year old Kade Barton and charged him with repeated attacks against a woman who is carrying a child. The report states the victim told police that barton assaulted her numerous times over the past several months, beating her abut the head, head butting her and kicking her in the stomach. The report also says that Barton threatened the woman with a rifle. Police were called to UPMC Bedford December 9 for an assault complaint. They arrested Barton the next day. He is charged with making terroristic threats, harassment, reckless endangerment and simple assault. Bail was set at $200,000.
