The Altoona Mirror reports that police have charged 32 year old Ryan Allan Mayhue of Clearfield for allegedly trying to arrange to meet a female under the age of 18 for sex. Police say that Mayhue was trying to arrange a meeting through a male relative of the minor female. That man reportedly told Mayhue through conversations that the girl was a relative, and that they were both suspended from using a social media site for their conversations. Mayhue was arrested on December 5th, charged with criminal attempt at rape of a child, unlawful contact with a minor, and attempted involuntary deviate sexual intercourse among other charges. The second man, identified as Stanley David Burden is facing charges in Lawrence County of sexual abuse of a child and child pornography.
