The Altoona Mirror reports that 5 inmates and 1 corrections officer have been sent to trial for the alleged assault that took place back in September. Authorities say that guard Eric Dostal Jr, along with inmates Korey Sitton, Delano Brown, John Jukes Jr, Richard Ewing and Kyler Luckadoo all conspired to assault the inmate after he reportedly told guards that another inmate was running a commissary and had argued with several of the suspects. The victim told police that the suspects were drunk on prison hooch and became aggressive and attacked him. Dostal is charged with opening the cell door to the victims cell so the attack could take place.
