According to investigators with the state police, a toddler was brought to UPMC Altoona for treatment of and alleged fentanyl overdose on December 15th. The child had to be taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh where the fentanyl diagnosis was confirmed. 28 year old Dillon Zack, who was watching the child, told police he had used drugs before, but not since the child was born. Zack told troopers that he watched the child ingest a white object, then began to react. Zack was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, child endangerment and reckless endangerment. He is locked up in the Cambria County jail,on $200,000 bail.
